While doing a little archiving of some old designs we made, I came across this flyer in particular. I’ve always made flyers for ALAS‘s flagship parties like Fright Night (held every October) & Cultural Night (held every May), and I’ve always been proud of the designs I do. Not only because I feel satisfied with the end-result from a artistic standpoint, but because our clients are satisfied equally as well, if not more.
This design however, from 2008, wasn’t and isn’t something I’d consider as a favorite of mines because I felt it lacked creative freedom and direction. Nevertheless, I feel that no design whether it’s done half-ass’ed or not, should go to waste. So here’s the flyer for your viewing pleasure (and yes, feel free to pont and laugh at some of the “beginner-like” nuances as far as design elements go).
